A $53,835 ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER, SIXTEEN SERVICE RECORDS, AND NOT ONE ACCIDENT
You pop the two Freedom panels out of the body color hardtop on a Saturday morning, slide them into the storage bag behind the rear seat, and take the long way toward the Blue Mountains with your arm out the window and the Alpine speakers doing the rest. By the time you drop back into the valley you are already planning the next trip. That is the whole point of a Wrangler Unlimited, and this is a very well built one.
We have the original factory window sticker on this Sahara, so there is no guesswork about how it left Toledo. Base price was $38,295. Here is what was added to it:
Body Color Freedom Top three piece hard top, $2,195
8-Speed Automatic Transmission with 3rd Generation Dana 44 solid rear axle, Hill Descent Control and Tip Start, $2,000
Electronic Infotainment System Group with Uconnect 4C NAV, 8.4 inch display, GPS navigation, Alpine premium audio, auto dimming rear view mirror and emergency assistance call, $1,595
Leather-Trimmed Seats with Sahara logo, leather wrapped park brake handle and shift knob, premium wrapped instrument panel, $1,495
LED Lighting Group with LED reflector headlamps, front LED fog lamps, LED tail lamps and LED daytime running accent lamps, $995
Cold Weather Group with heated front seats, heated steering wheel and remote start, $995
18 inch by 7.5 inch Tech Gray polished face wheels, $995
Jeep Active Safety Group with ParkSense rear park assist and Blind Spot with Cross Path detection, $895
Trailer Tow and HD Electrical Group with auxiliary switches, Class II receiver hitch, 7 and 4 pin wiring, 240 amp alternator and 700 amp battery, $795
Chrome tube steps by Mopar, $650
Anti-Spin differential rear axle with 3rd Generation Dana 44 HD rear axle, $595
Remote proximity keyless entry, $495
Jeep Trail Rated Kit, $195
All weather floor mats, $150
255/70R18 all terrain tires, no charge
Add the $1,495 destination charge and the sticker totaled $53,835. That is a heavily optioned Sahara, not a base truck wearing the badge.
Underneath all of it sits the standard Sahara hardware: the 3.6 liter V6 with ESS, Command-Trac part time four wheel drive, a 3.45 axle ratio, heavy duty suspension with gas shocks, fuel tank and transfer case and transmission skid plates, trailer sway damping, ParkView rear back up camera and the Torx tool kit for the doors and top.
The history is just as good as the build. CARFAX reports no accidents and no damage of any kind, no structural damage, no airbag deployment, never a total loss, no odometer discrepancy, and a guaranteed clean title. Sixteen service records follow it, and nearly every one of them is from Lithia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT of Tri-Cities right here in Kennewick, with maintenance inspections and oil changes logged at 4,762, 13,154, 19,891, 26,760, 30,995, 32,773, 43,289, 50,709 and 55,390 miles. The differential fluid was flushed and changed at 30,995. The throttle body was cleaned at 43,289. The most recent visit was at 63,417 miles for a maintenance inspection, oil and filter, and a tire check. The odometer reads 63,591, so that work was done 174 miles ago. CARFAX also reports no open recalls.
