THE PANELS COME OUT IN ABOUT FIVE MINUTES AND THEN THE WHOLE SUMMER CHANGES
You pull into the driveway on a warm evening, grab the two Freedom Panels off the roof, drop them in the storage bag that came with the Jeep, and suddenly the drive up to Sunnyside or out toward the Blues is a completely different experience. Then the weather turns, the panels go back in, the auto climate control takes over, and the same rig hauls four people and their gear through a Tri-Cities winter without complaint. That is the trick a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara pulls off, and it is the reason these things hold their value the way they do.
WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT
Billet Metallic Clearcoat over a black interior, 4WD, the 3.6L Pentastar V6 and the five speed automatic, showing 85,742 miles. Four doors, so the back seat is actually usable and the rear splits and folds when you need the cargo floor instead.
BUILT AS A SAHARA, ORDERED WITH THE EXTRAS
Quick Order Package 24G, the Connectivity Group, and the Trailer Tow Group with a Class II receiver hitch and four pin connector wiring. Inside, a Uconnect navigation setup running a 6.5 inch touch screen with a 40GB hard drive, seven speakers, a CD player, SiriusXM Travel Link, a remote USB port and an auxiliary jack for whatever else you plug in. There is a remote start system, heated power door mirrors, an auto dimming rear view mirror, automatic temperature control with air filtering, rear window defroster, a rear wiper and washer, and a leather wrapped steering wheel with the audio controls right on it. Compass, tachometer, trip computer, outside temperature display and the Vehicle Information Center handle the rest of the gauges.
Underneath it wears heavy duty suspension with gas shocks, front and rear anti roll bars, four wheel disc brakes with ABS and brake assist, traction control, electronic stability control, integrated roll over protection and tire pressure monitoring, on 18 inch polished aluminum wheels. Cloth bucket seats up front, front center armrest with storage, fog lamps, automatic headlights and a factory security system round it out.
THE HISTORY IS THE BEST PART
Three previous owners, every one of them personal, and CARFAX flagged all three as low mileage drivers. No accidents and no damage reported. No structural damage, no airbag deployment, no total loss, no odometer rollback, and a title guaranteed free of salvage, junk, rebuilt, fire, flood, hail and lemon branding for every owner. No open recalls reported.
It started life in east Texas, spent a few years on the Gulf coast of Florida, and came to Richland in December of 2017. It has been a Tri-Cities Jeep ever since, and it has been titled right here in Kennewick since 2021. The middle owner barely drove it, averaging under 1,500 miles a year.
Fourteen service records follow it the whole way. Oil service at 6,965 and 11,362 in Texas, then a steady run of oil and filter work in Florida through 31,552. Once it got to Washington: Valvoline in Richland at 35,048, Lithia Jeep in Kennewick at 36,549, then a big one at McCurley in Pasco at 38,986 with four tires mounted and balanced, a four wheel alignment, air filter, cabin air filter, wipers and a brake check. Mercedes-Benz of Tri-Cities went over it again at 39,068 with a full maintenance inspection covering brakes, drive belts, steering and suspension. Oil service continued locally at 46,914, 55,160 and 61,132.
ONE THING TO KNOW
The original factory warranty expired long ago on age and mileage, which is normal for a 2014. Everything else about the file is as clean as these come.
