Two disclosures before anything else, because this one has both.
First, damage. CARFAX shows a damage report filed 10/20/2024, classified minor, with the damage located at the front. No accident was reported. No structural damage. No airbag deployment. No total loss. No indication of an odometer rollback. CARFAX itself notes that minor damage is usually cosmetic, dents or scratches to the body. Walk the front of this Jeep in daylight and judge it with your own eyes.
Second, an open recall. CARFAX lists NHTSA 19V-813, Chrysler recall V62, covering the fuel pump relay on 2011 to 2013 WK and WD vehicles. It was issued 11/21/2019 and CARFAX shows the status as Remedy Available, meaning the fix exists and any Jeep dealer can perform it. It has not been done on this truck yet. Now the reason you clicked. This is an SRT8, which means the 6.4 liter SRT HEMI V8 with MDS, 4WD, a 3.70 rear axle, adaptive suspension, the high performance suspension package, and 20 by 10 inch forged aluminum wheels. Brilliant Black Crystal Pearlcoat over black leather trimmed seats with the preferred suede inserts. The SRT8 badge on the back is not a trim sticker, it is a promise.
And somebody spent real money keeping it right. At 35,016 miles the water pump and water pump gasket were replaced and the coolant flushed. At roughly 46,500 miles it went through a serious front end and engine service: rack and pinion replaced, steering gear replaced, power steering fluid flushed and changed, intake manifold gaskets replaced, PCV valve replaced, and both the drive belts and the serpentine belt replaced. A four wheel alignment followed at 52,645. Oil and filter changes are on the record at 973, 4,015, 39,975, 52,097, 59,018 and 60,000 miles across 15 service history records.
