THE 6.2 LITER V8. NOT THE SMALL ONE. THE BIG ONE.
You press the remote start from the kitchen window on a January morning and watch a white Tahoe come to life in the driveway, 6.2 liters of EcoTec3 V8 settling into that low, unmistakable idle. By the time you walk out, the front dual zone climate has already sorted itself out and the heated driver seat is warm. You thumb the hands free power liftgate, load whatever the day requires into the space behind the third row, and pull out onto the highway riding on 22 inch bright machined wheels with the Bose nine speaker 360L system playing quietly enough that nobody in the second row has to raise their voice. Two hours later you realize you have not thought about the drive once. That is the whole point of a Tahoe RST.
This is the RST, which is the version people actually want, and it is the 6.2 liter engine rather than the 5.3, paired to the 10 speed automatic and four wheel drive. That combination is not something you can just go order off a lot.
The history on this one is unusual and worth telling straight. It was originally delivered new through Northgate Chevrolet Buick GMC in Edmonton, Alberta in December 2021, and it spent its first stretch in Alberta with regular dealer service at Kipp Scott GMC Cadillac Buick in Red Deer. In May 2023 it was imported into the United States through Eastport, Idaho and declared to the US Department of Transportation as meeting United States highway safety specifications, with the import bond released the following month. Washington issued title in June 2023, and it has lived in the Tri Cities ever since, titled in Kennewick since August 2023.
Local service is well documented. McCurley Chevrolet in Pasco handled it at 19,973 miles, again at 33,973 miles where the maintenance inspection also included a body computer module reprogram and a washer pump replacement, and again at 42,981 miles. Tire Factory of Richland did oil and a tire rotation at 27,722 miles, and Tri Cities Automotive Repair in Kennewick did oil, filter and a rotation at 49,905 miles on March 25, 2026. Nine service history records in all, with both owners driving well under the fifteen thousand mile per year industry average.
