The 6.2-liter LS3 V8 in the Camaro SS produces 426 horsepower from the factory and it has produced it in exactly the same way since the day this car left West Chevrolet in Woodbury, Connecticut in April of 2011. The LS3 is not a complicated engine and that is precisely the point: a pushrod small-block V8 with enough displacement to make real power without trying very hard, light enough on the nose to let the car rotate, and loud enough at full throttle that you know exactly what you are dealing with before you even look at the speedometer. Carter Chevrolet in Manchester did oil changes. Gengras Chevrolet in East Hartford completed a maintenance inspection and alignment check. Then the car came west to Washington state, where it was registered in the Auburn and Seattle area for a number of years before finding its way to Wenatchee. Cascade Autocenter in Wenatchee brought it in, put four new tires on it, replaced the cabin air filter, changed the oil, and did a full maintenance inspection at 36,136 miles. Cascade serviced it again in the spring of 2025 and then again on June 26th, three days before it came to us, fluids checked and oil fresh. The car arrived ready to drive.
